In this webinar, Shahla Ghobadi discusses her research on how crowdfunded projects navigate resource adversity and build resilience. Drawing on a comparative, longitudinal study, she explains how developers can make resourceful decisions that strengthen projects, resist disruptive changes, and improve the quality of digital products. Recorded at the Manchester Methods Conference, this presentation introduces the Adaptive Method for Comparative Causal Mapping to help researchers systematically compare different perspectives while remaining open to new insights. Applicable across a wide range of research settings, the method enables the analysis of similarities and differences between causal maps at three levels: the overall map, individual constructs, and the relationships between constructs.
